About Center for Engineering Innovation

Organization

The Center for Engineering Innovation consists of the following five division.

1) Technical Support Division

The technical support division carries out technical support work in response to a request for technical support from the departments etc. And the technical staff of the Faculty of Engineering, with the director of the Faculty of Engineering as the director of the technical support division belongs to the organization of the technical support division. It is composed of 3 groups of Mechanical System Engineering Group, Electronic Machining System Engineering Group, Material Life Engineering Group, and is carrying out technical support work related to education, research and social support.

2) Workshop Center Division

The Workshop Center Division was established after inheriting the operations and activities of the Workshop Center installed as a shared use facility of the faculty of engineering. This division plays an important part of the research and education of the Faculty of Engineering in terms of manufacturing, and its use is open not only to the Faculty of Engineering but also to the whole university.

3) Leading Edge Project Division I

The Advanced Project Division I is a department that engineering faculty members belong to as a concurrent institution and conducts research by concentrating for a certain period of time with external funds as the main financial resources.

4) Leading Edge Project Division II

In the Leading Edge Project Division II, engineers and researchers from companies belong to organic institutions as university faculty members with appropriate posts such as full-time positions, and are established as a Division that collaborates jointly with research and industry-academia collaboration with engineering faculty staff.

5) Innovation Engineering and MOT Education Division

The Innovation Engineering and MOT Education Division is set up as a Division that supports students such as coordination of creation subjects of engineering department, robocon, student formula, etc. and carries out MOT education.
